Sberbank has opened Russia’s first free Risk Management Academy, which gives senior students and graduates (2016 and 2017) the chance to take part in a risk management training programme developed by Russia’s leading bank.
The course runs for six months, from November 2017 until April 2018. Lectures will be held once a week on weekday evenings. Each lesson will last for around three hours. Students will be graded on their participation in the lectures, coursework, and the end-of-course exam.
The course focuses on the practical aspects of risk management. Topics include basic risk management concepts; integrated risk management; credit, market, and operational risk; and using models to assess risks. The lectures will be held by leading experts and senior executives from Sberbank who have extensive risk management experience.
