The Mexican Interjet Airline Company Is Interested In Purchasing Russian MS-21 Aircrafts

The Mexican Interjet airline company became interested in purchasing Russian MS-21 aircrafts. This was reported to “RIA Novosti” by the company’s President Miguel Aleman Velasco. The first flight of the MS-21  aircraft happpened on May 28, 2017. The passenger aircraft is declared to be meant as a competitor to Boeing 737 MAX and Airbus A320neo. It will replace Tu-154. It is capable of taking on board from 150 to 210 passengers, depending of modification. Its flying range amounts to five thousand kilometers. The plane is currently using American Pratt & Whitney PW1400G engines. In the future it is planned to equip aircrafts with Russian PD-14 engines.
