"Aeroflot" Considers Launching New Routes

"Aeroflot" considers China and the United States as one of the most important foreign markets and will study the possibility of new routes to these countries, Giorgio Callegari, deputy general director of the company on strategy and alliances, told Bloomberg TV.

Aeroflot is also considering the priority of launching the route to Singapore, he said. J.Kallegari confirmed the forecast for the growth in passenger traffic of Aeroflot in 2017 by 15%, to 50 million people.

Now Aeroflot runs direct flights from Moscow to four US cities: daily to New York and Los Angeles, three times a week to Miami and Washington. Routes of Aeroflot to China are Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, as well as Hong Kong.
