24 Choirs from all Over Russia to Compete in Belgorod

The final of the 2nd Contest of Vocal Groups of Pensioners will be held at the Energomash concert hall on November 16 and 17.

      The 1st choir contest was held in Kursk in 2016 and won by the Belgorod residents. The Grand Prix was taken by the national chorus "Native Songs" headed by Vladimir Uvarov. Hence, this year the final is hosted by the Belgorod Region.

      24 amateur choirs from 23 regions of this country – the Altai and Krasnodar Regions, Buryatia, Yakutia, Chuvashia, Astrakhan, Belgorod, Vologda, Kursk, Kirov, Lipetsk, Moscow, Omsk, Orel, Penza, Samara, Rostov, Tver, Tyumen , Ulyanovsk, and Yaroslavl Regions, as well as Moscow and Donetsk - will take part in the vocal contest. Altogether there will be about 400 participants from 55 to 80 years old.
