17.11.2017 14:57

For the jubilee of Lewis Carroll, the famous Dodo bird from the Wonderland will be shown in the Darwin Museum, Moscow.

The exhibition "Three Dodo Stories" will be held from 19 December 2017 to 27 January 2018.

The event will be dedicated to the Dodo, the legendary extinct bird. The star of the exposition is the only full skeleton of the dodo in Russia, which will be presented to the public for the first time in the last 6 years.

Along with the heroes of the book "Alice in Wonderland," Lewis Carroll immortalized the bird Dodo - his own caricature portrait.

The exhibition will also display other animal characters of Lewis Carroll. March Hare, Mock Turtle, Gryphon, and Sonia will be demonstrated to visitors from the biological side as well as in the illustrations to "Alice in Wonderland" from 1907 to 1999.

The State Darwin Museum is located at the address 57, Vavilov Street, Moscow
