Traffic on the “Vysoky” and “Derevyanny” bridges in Kaliningrad that have been reconstructed in preparation for the World Cup-2018 has been opened, as the Mayor’s Office reported to Interfax.

“The importance of these bridges for the city is huge: they connect its central part with the Oktyabrsky Island where the stadium for the World Cup-2018 is being built. The bridges were built before World War II and required repairs” - the Mayor said. The repairs of the two bridges cost 1 billion roubles.
