Free Opera in Memory of Dmitry Khvorostovsky in Krasnoyarsk

The Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet House will give a free opera in memory of deceased Dmitry Khvorostovsky.

      “It was on the stage of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet House that Dmitry started his singing career and performed his first opera parts. Therefore, on Sunday, November 26, we will honor the memory of our compatriot with the free performance of opera "Troubadour", starting at noon. In addition, on December 1, The Queen of Spades will be dedicated to Dmitry Khvorostovsky - it was in this opera that Dmitry performed one of his first big parts. The entrance to The Queen of Spades will be with tickets only”, - the press service of the theater reported.

      As they said in the theater, “He became a real citizen of the world and sang on the best opera stages. But he never forgot his home city and regularly gave concerts here”.
