Vladimir Etush, the People's Artiste of the USSR, has taken the Audience Award “Theatre Star” for the best female role.

      Actor Vladimir Etush was awarded for the role of Sofya Ivanovna in the stage production "Benefit" of the Vakhtangov Moscow Academic Theater.

      During the award ceremony, Vladimir Etush wished his colleagues to win a prize of the "Theater Star"as well, and thanked the audience.

      The actor admitted that he had been making his way to this award for a long time.
