The losses of MegaFon communications provider caused by the package of anti-terrorist laws, also known as “Yarovaya’s package”, will amount to 35 to 40 billion roubles in the next five years. This was told by the company’s CEO Sergei Soldatenkov.

The implementations of the “Yarovaya’s Law” will be the second iteration of LESS (Law Enforcement Support System – commented by “Lenta.ru”). It can cost a total of 35-40 billion roubles during five years”- the company’s Head stated. He explained that the company based its calculations proceeding from the fact that the data should be stored during one month, and conversations - during six months.

The equipment for data storage must be produced within the Russian Federation.
