Bolshoi Theatre to Host "Nureyev" Ballet in June 2018

Bolshoi Theatre to Host

The world premiere timed to the 80th anniversary since the birth of the famous ballet dancer Rudolf Nureyev was held on December 9, 2017.

      The director general of the Bolshoi Theatre Vladimir Urin confirmed the upcoming performance of the ballet Nureev. He added that the production would go on tour to China and the Republic of Korea in May.

      The next series of Nureyev ballet shows will be held at the Bolshoi Theatre in June 2018, and not in May, as previously reported. The dates of the shows have already been scheduled and the pre-sale of tickets will start in three months.

      The ballet was created by composer Ilya Demutsky, choreographer Yuri Posokhov, and librettist, stage director and stage designer Kirill Serebrennikov.
