Actor Mikhail Derzhavin Passed Away

The actor of the Satire Theater, People's Artist of the RSFSR, Mikhail Derzhavin died at the age of 81. This has been reported on the Facebook page of the Moscow Academic Theater of Satire today.

"Mikhail Derzhavin (1936-2018) is no more with us, and the date of farewell and funeral will be reported additionally," the report said.

Mikhail Mikhailovich Derzhavin was born on June 15, 1936 in Moscow. In 1959 he graduated from the Shchukin Theater School and became an actor of the Lencom Theater.

In 1965 he shifted to work at the Moscow Drama Theater in Malaya Bronnaya. From 1967 and till his last days, Mikhail Derzhavin was an actor of the Moscow Academic Theater of Satire.
