"Maslenitsa" In the Gorky Park

The management of the Gorky Park allocated 13 million rubles for the organization and technical support of the cultural event "Maslenitsa".


      
The terms of the relevant open tender are published on the official public procurement portal. Shrovetide events will be held on February 17-18. According to the terms of the technical requirements, Muscovites and guests of the city will see a glowing rubber art object "Sun" (diameter not less than 6 meters) with beams, installed between the columns of the main entrance to the park.

      
On the Pushkin Embankment there will be an effigy of the Maslenitsa up to 8 meters high, which by tradition will be burnt.

      Farewell to the winter will be held at several interactive venues. Guests of the park will be able to shoot from a giant slingshot, compete in running in bags and tug-of-war, play chess, tic-tac-toe, domino, scramble, petanque and bowling, listen to performances of popular artists on the stage set on Pushkinskaya Embankment.
