Bell Ringing Festival to be Held in Krasnodar

Regional Bell Ringing Festival will be opened at the Holy Protection Church in the town of Krasnodar on January 13.

Musicians and bell-ringers from 12 settlements of the Krasnodar Territory, as well as from the Rostov Region and Adygea, will take part in the "Sacred Chime".

"At the competition, bell ringing will be performed with an arbitrary program. First, participants will play canonical chimes and then perform their own compositions" - the regional Ministry of Culture reported.

The bell ringing events will be accompanied with a concert of amateur musicians, an exhibition of decorative items, and sales of sweets on the square near the Palace of Arts "Premiere".

The results of the festival will be summed up at the final concert at 2 pm.
