Tula confectioners specially for the World Cup will make gingerbread in the form of a soccer ball with championship symbols, said the chairman of the committee on the development of tourism Vladimir Allahverdov.

"The presentation of this gingerbread, which is our pride and the most famous Russian brand, will take place in January at the international tourism exhibition in Austria, and in March - in Serbia," - the head of the regional committee said.

"The FIFA World Cup is certainly a key event for Russia's tourism industry, and we are interested in seeing the guests of the World Cup able to visit the sights of the Tula region. We sent our proposals to the federal ministries, work closely with tour companies, including Intourist.
