The inauguration ceremony of the cross-Russian-Austrian Year of Music 2018 was held in Vienna on Thursday.

      The ceremony took place at the Russian Embassy, ​​starting with a concert by young Russian musicians.

      "The Year of Music will be a logical continuation of the Year of Tourism, as we will introduce new tourist, music and cultural projects to our visitors in both the countries," - Russian Ambassador to Austria, Dmitry Lubinsky, said.

      "The Year of Music promises to be very interesting, since we have tried to prepare a program that will embrace all the federal lands of Austria," - the ambassador added.
