The Minimum Wage Level Will Rise

The Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law raising the minimum wage level to the subsistence level. The document is published on the official web portal of legal information.

      As of January 1, 2018, the minimum wage will be set at 85 percent of the subsistence level (9489 roubles). Beginning from 1 January 2019, the minimum wage will be set at the subsistence level for the second quarter of the year proceeding the year of the minimum wage establishment.
