The Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin opened the “Khovrino” station of Zamoskvoretskaya metro line of the Moscow Metro in the north of the capital on the last day of 2017.
“Khovrino” became the 204th station of the Moscow Metro, and the total length of the metro lines exceeds 340 km now. Khovrino has become the end station in the northern part of Zamoskvoretskaya line. The new station is located in Khovrino district on Dybenko Street near the automobile junction of Moscow Ring Road - the North-Eastern chord - and the railway tracks of Saint Petersburg direction of the Oktyabrskaya Railway. Khovrino is now the metro station that is the closest to Sheremetyevo airport.
