Bogoroditsk Palace and Park Museum is hosting the exhibition "Skopin Сeramics". The visitors of the event will be introduced to the traditional craft of Skopin craftsmen.

      In the middle of the 19^th century the potters of the provincial town of Skopin in the Ryazan Region came to manufacture elegant and fancy tableware instead of course plain pots. That tradition has come down to us.

      The exposition gives an opportunity to have a close look at whimsical clay figures and sculpted pitchers. It features handmade designer works created in the 1990s.

      The exhibition runs from December 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018.
