Early flowers started to bloom in the forests of Sochi in mid-January, as the representative of the Caucasian Biosphere Reserve told to “Interfax-South” agency on Thursday. According to him, February fair-maids, hellebores, cyclamens and violets bloom in the forest, although their blossoming usually falls to early March. “In two weeks you will see the glades full of blooming plants”- the agency’s interlocutor stressed.
He added that early flowers grow on the specially protected natural areas and are listed in the Red Book of Russia. Air temperature in Sochi reaches plus 14 degrees Celsius now, the weather is sunny.
