According to critics, the "Masquerade" based on Mikhail Lermontov's drama is a recognized masterpiece of Rimas Tuminas.

The Vakhtangov State Academic Theater will become a participant of the "Russian Seasons" in Italy. On Friday, the Moscow troupe went to Naples, where it will present the "Masquerade" play staged by Rimas Tuminas and based on Mikhail Lermontov’s drama.

"Masquerade" stars - Eugene Knyazev, Lidia Velezheva, Maria Volkova, Leonid Bichevin, Yury Shlykov, Oleg Lopukhov, Alexander Pavlov, Alexander Ryschenkov, Mikhail Vaskov, Andrei Zaretsky, and Yuri Kraskov.

The play "Masquerade" will be performed  on the stage of Teatro Stabile di Napoli Mercadante on January 27 and 28.
