Tourist and information service (TIS) of the Sverdlovsk region was opened on Thursday in Perm (Perm region), the department of information policy of the region reports. "In the tourist information service of the Sverdlovsk region it will be possible to find all the exhaustive information, have consultations on the choice of accommodation facilities, take maps and guidebooks," the director of the Tourism Development Center of the Sverdlovsk Region Elmira Tukanova says.

      It is noted that the establishment of TIS will contribute to an increase in the tourist flow to the Sverdlovsk region.

      "Tourist relations between our regions demonstrate steady growth, an increasing popularity is being gained both by organized tourist trips  and independent trips, therefore it is important to inform as much as possible about tourist routes, the possibilities of hospitality infrastructure, and events," added E.Tukanova.

      Tourist and information services of the Sverdlovsk region are already operating in St. Petersburg, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, and Tyumen.
