Shrovetide Week In the Moscow Region

More than 70 festive events will be held from  February 12 to 18 in 48 parks in the Moscow region during the Shrovetide Week, the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Moscow region reports.

"Visitors will enjoy theatrical performances, games, sports competitions, interactive animation programs for children and adults," the Minister of Culture of the Moscow region Oksana Kosareva said.

      Traditionally, the Moscow Region libraries take an active part in celebrating Maslenitsa and hold various thematic events during the Shrovetide week: master classes, quizzes, concerts, exhibitions. This year, the Moscow Region libraries will offer more than 300 events.
