Sberbank Opened a New Trading Floor - the Largest in Europe

Sberbank’s Central Office has opened a new trading floor, which is the largest in Europe.

      The area of the trading floor exceeds 4,000 square metres, and accommodates more than 400 workspaces. Sales, Trading, Structured Products and Electronic Markets are located on the third floor of Sberbank’s Central Office. The fourth floor is home to Investment Banking and Advisory, Investment Research, and Business Management and Development. Up to eight personal computers and 12 monitors can be installed at each trading and sales workspace. Trading is equipped with two LED screens that are located at the perimeter of the atrium.

      Sberbank’s trading floor is the only trading floor in Russia equipped with one of the largest LED screens in the world with such a high resolution (pixel pitch of 1.2 mm).

      Sberbank is Russia’s largest bank and a leading global financial institution. Sberbank holds almost one third of aggregate Russian banking sector assets, it is the key lender to the national economy and the biggest deposit taker in Russia. The Central Bank of the Russian Federation is the founder and principal shareholder of Sberbank owning 50% of the Bank's authorized capital plus one voting share, with the remaining 50% held by domestic and international investors. Sberbank has more than 135 million individual customers and more than 1 million corporate clients in 22 countries. Sberbank has the largest distribution network in Russia with almost 17,000 branches, and its international operations include UK, US, CIS, Central and Eastern Europe, Turkey and other countries.
