An English book on the research of the superbolid is planned to be published by the end of 2018.

Scientists of the Chelyabinsk State University (CSU) jointly with colleagues from NASA by the end of 2018 are planning to publish an English-language version of the book that summarizes the study of the Chelyabinsk meteorite, which impacted the Earth five years ago.

This was reported by the dean of the physical faculty of the CSU, Sergey Taskaev.

“The prepared book is being translated into English now; with over 200 pages, it is dedicated to the main successes in the study of Chelyabinsk superbolide. This is a complex work carried out by a large scientific team of 12 co-authors, in particular, the head of the Theoretical Physics Chair of CSU, Professor Alexander Dudorov, winner of the USSR State Prize, Nikolai Gorkavy from NASA, and others”, - he said.
