15 sports and cultural events will be held within the framework of the “Zimniada” festival on Lake Baikal.

      The Baikal skating marathon and interregional festival of winter wizards “The Ice Fairy Tale of Baikal” will be held for the first time. The International Winter Games Festival will be held for the 15th time in February-March of 2018 in Irkutsky, Olkhonsky and Slyudyansky districts. The main goal of the project is to increase interest in winter sports. “Zimniada” has been attracting people’s attention to winter recreation on Baikal and solving the problem of tourism seasonality during 15 years.
