A true feast for all guitar fans will be the 6^th Festival “Guitar. From Classics to Rock” at the Moscow International House of Music on February 24.

      This is the only guitar festival in Moscow, which boasts style contrasts and genre diversity. Virtuoso guitarists will present a huge range of music from masterpieces of the classics of three centuries to modern pieces in the style of crossover, rock and heavy metal.

      Russian Guitar Quartet will play a variety of music from the Brandenburg Concert by Bach to Polovtsian Dances by Borodin on the 6-string guitars. The unique musical project has won more than fifty prizes at international competitions and festivals altogether.

      A classical guitar solo on the first day of the festival will be performed by outstanding young Chinese guitar player Xinye Li.
