Music from great movies will be performed by the organ and the brass band at the Catholic Cathedral of Peter and Paul.
The soundtracks of Hollywood's old famous films have already become classics. That is especially true about the music by Henry Mancini, Angelo Badalamenti, and Ennio Morricone. Their music recreates the atmosphere of bustling New York streets and the silence of wild forests, as well as the mysteries of magical castles and spaces travels, the thrills of heroic battles, and of course, the romance of love stories.
If the language and technical means of film dramaturgy can become obsolete, then music cannot. And sometimes it is thanks to music that films are best remembered for.
The concert is going to be performed by organ duet Belcanto and the Brass Band of Russia.
When: 10 March, from 9 pm to 10:10 pm.
Where: the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul Cathedral at the address 7/10, Starosadskiy Lane, next to Kitay Gorod metro station, Moscow.
