“Gazprom” will acquire two gas turbines from the German “Siemens” concern for the Grozny TPP. The contract has been signed at the meeting of the Chairman of the board of Gazprom Aleksei Miller and the President of Siemens Joe Kaeser, as the press service of the Russian company reported The parties agreed that Siemens experts will ship, install and commission two gas turbines with a total capacity of up to 360 megawatts for the power plant. The facility is to be launched in 2019. It is assumed that the new power plant will make it possible to eliminate the electricity deficit, provide reliable power supply to consumers and expand the gas distribution market.
