Gold and Foreign Exchange Reserves of Russia Have Grown

Gold and foreign exchange reserves of Russia have grown to the maximum level since the end of September 2014. During the week from March 2 to 9 they rose to $ 455.2 billion, according to the data of the Central Bank.

      “The volume of international reserves has increased by $ 2.9 billion, or 0.6 percent, during the week, mainly under the influence of positive revaluation” - the regulatory body explained. At the end of January Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the country’s gold and currency reserves had grown and amounted to $ 442.8 billion.
