The Ministry of Finance of Russia has Placed New 11-year Eurobonds

 The Ministry of Finance of Russia has placed new 11-year Eurobonds for 1.5 billion dollars at 4.625 percent per annum (“Russia-2029”) and issued additional securities for 2.5 billion at 5.250 percent (“Russia-2047”).

      The money obtained from the placement of the bonds, 3.2 billion dollars, is to be spent on the purchase of “Russia-2030” Eurobonds. According to TASS, the Head of the Debt Capital Market Department of “VTB Capital” (the initiator of the securities placement) Andrei Solovyev noted that about 170 Russian and international investors had taken part in the transactions.
