Free Exhibitions at Tretyakov Gallery: on Mystery of Sviyazhsk Town and Soviet Artist

At weekends, the Engineering Building of the Tretyakov Gallery can now be visited free of charge.

All comers are invited to see two exhibitions: "The Tale of the City of Sviyazhsk" and “Artist Nikich. The World Inside and Life Outside”.

The first of them tells about a mysterious town, which was built on the banks of River Volga during the reign of Ivan the Terrible. The second one is dedicated to the centenary of artist Anatoly Nikich, and illustrates the story of his life and creativity.

Visitors can download free audio guides to both exhibitions.
The entrance to the Engineering Building is in the Small Tolmachevsky Lane. The Tretyakov Gallery is open every day except Monday.
