Russia's oldest comic book festival is taking place in several venues: the Moscow Museum, the Russian State Library for Youth and the Design Factory "Flacon".
The festival program at the Moscow Museum combines an exhibition with educational and children's events. The exhibition includes works by authors from Algeria, Belgium, Cuba, Russia, Finland, the Czech Republic and Sweden.
City stories, legends and tales of Brussels, Havana and Algeria, created by the best comic artists from these countries will be displayed at the festival project "Chronicas".
Russia is represented at the exhibition with Vyacheslav Sysoev's original caricatures provided from a private collection with the consent of the artist's widow. Sysoev was one of the key representatives of dissident culture and a participant of the underground art process in the USSR.
