“Amur” dumplings (“pelmeni”) have become the leaders of voting for the gastronomic symbol the Amur Oblast and, following the results of the contest, they will be presented at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF). As the press service of the regional Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Tourism and Business reported on Tuesday, the residents of the region presented 72 recipes, including both known dishes and novelties.

      “About 1,900 people took part in the voting, the clear winner was the first option – “Amur” dumplings”. 693 people voted for them. “Amur dumplings” were a composite option, and these were chosen by every fifth participant”, as the message goes.
