Experts of the St. Petersburg State University have created new ultralight designs for installing the detectors of the Large Hadron Collider.
They will be used to modernize one of the experimental units of LHC ALICE, which is scheduled for 2020.
Vladimir Zherebchevsky, head of the Nuclear Physics Laboratory at St. Petersburg State University, told about this to journalists.
