The Russians have Admitted that They Often Buy Illegal and Counterfeit Products

The Russians have admitted that they often buy illegal and counterfeit products on the “islets” of shopping malls – sales outlets located in the halls, not in the pavilions of the malls. Such data were given in the survey of the “BrandMonitor” legal company. Almost a third of Russians (29 percent) admitted that they often bought various goods on the so-called "islets", another 44 percent said they rarely bought goods at such outlets.

27 percent of respondents assured that they never bought products at such outlets. To check of the quality of products sold in such “islets”, BrandMonitor has conducted more than 100 test purchases, according to their results, 82 percent of such outlets were selling counterfeit products.
