Morcheeba is Coming to Moscow Soon

British veterans of downtempo music are bringing a collection of their golden hits to Moscow.

London trio Morcheeba once was in demand everywhere and especially admired in Russia. The band’s records were kept side to side with the albums of Massive Attack, Portishead and Tricky, and the first Moscow gig of Morcheeba took place in neither less than the Moscow Academic Art Theatre.

During the heyday of Russian MTV, music videos from the canonical albums of Fragments of Freedom and Charango did not leave the air of the channel.

This spring, the band has drawn attention with the new single Never Undo and will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their canonical record Big Calm (the one with “The Sea” and “Part of the Process”). In other words, there is every reason to hear both the new and classical hits of Morcheeba at the GLAVCLUB.

When: Thursday, May 24, 2018, starting at 8 pm

Where: GLAVCLUB GREEN CONCERT at the address 11, Ordzhonikidze Street, next to Leninsky Prospect metro station, Moscow.
