Sberbank and the Russian Ministry of Economic Development have concluded an additional agreement on providing subsidised lending at 6.5% to small and medium-sized enterprises of priority economic sectors for five years.

The concluded agreement will allow up to RUB 15.5 bln to be provided by the end of the year. During the first months of the agreement, RUB 6.6 bln have already been provided.

“The new programme of the Ministry of Economic Development has proved itself to be an efficient tool to support SMEs. It has helped to make lending much more accessible to small and medium-sized enterprises. It means that small companies now have more opportunities to create and maintain thousands of workplaces in the regions,” said Vice President of Sberbank Andrey Sharov.
