Tverskaya Street in Moscow will Become Pedestrian on June 11 and 12

 Tverskaya Street in Moscow will become pedestrian on June 11 and 12, due to the celebration of the Day of Russia, as the Head of the Moscow Department of Trade and Services Aleksey Nemeryuk told to the reporters on Thursday.

      “The festival titled “The Day of Russia. Moscow Time” will be held on June 11 and 12. Tverskaya Street will be the centre of the celebration, it will become pedestrian and be divided into seven thematic zones, each zone will represent one historical epoch, its music, popular dances of that time, kinds of sports”, as Nemeryuk said. According to him, seven time epochs of the country’s development from the beginning of the 20th century will be presented on Tverskaya Street.
