The 5Y collection, presented by Madrid-based fashion designer Yulia Yadryshnikova, brings her take on office wear, hallmarked by her signature minimal silhouettes and clean-cut aesthetics.
The office environment is often associated with routine work or dress code limitations but nowadays this attitude seems outdated. Yulia aims at redefining the boundaries of office clothing by borrowing some elements from streetwear and making delicate shifts in patterns, lines, and details.
The 5Y collection is all about hybridization: jeans skirt made from suit fabric, slightly oversized jacket in bright color, asymmetrical shirt, an elegant dress with top part as men’s sporty blazer, just to list a few. Also, like in previous collections, some pieces are based on the patterns of menswear transformed into women’s clothing.
