Yury Temirkanov, Svetlana Sivkova, Irina Antonova and Boris Eifman will be awarded the State Prize of the Russian Federation 2017 on June 12.
This year, the State Prize “For Outstanding Achievements in the Humanitarian Activity” goes to Irina Antonova, the President of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts.
Boris Eifman, the head of the St. Petersburg Academic Ballet Theater, is awarded “For Contribution to the Development of National and World Choreographic Art”.
Svetlana Sivkova, general director of the World Ocean Museum in the Kaliningrad Region, is conferred the Prize “For Contribution to the Study, Preservation and Promotion of the Maritime Heritage”.
Conductor Yuri Temirkanov, the art director of the St. Petersburg Shostakovich Academic Philharmonic, is going to get the Prize “For Outstanding Contribution into the Development of National and World Music Culture”.
