Students of HSE Took Part in SPIEF

The discussion platform opened with the presentation ‘Design for Business. The University as a Design Laboratory, a Centre of Excellence and Think Tank’. During this session, representatives of the HSE School of Design   presented examples of successful cooperation between the university and the business community.

      "HSE Student Expeditions: Opening Up Russia’ project was discussed. One of the main objectives of this project is to address pressing issues in the development of Russia’s regions. Participants in the project, including HSE students and teachers, as well as representatives of local governments, will share the results of the expeditions.

      A discussion on ‘Employing Big Data Analysis Tools for Strategic Decision-making’ was be held. Experts from the HSE Institute for Statistical Studies and the Economics of Knowledge will demonstrate the capabilities of the iFORA system they have developed for the smart analysis of big data. This system can be used to provide support for decision-making. In addition, the presenters will discuss the growing role of new tools for strategic analysis with representatives of companies, academic institutions and government agencies.
