Glonass-M Satellite Put into Orbit

The Soyuz-2.1b rocket and the Fregat upper stage successfully launched the Russian navigation satellite Glonass-M into orbit.

      This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry's Information and Communications Department.

      According to the agency, the Russian navigation spacecraft Glonass-M was successfully launched into the calculated orbit at the set time.

      As noted, a stable telemetry connection has been established and maintained with the satellite. Onboard systems of the device function normally.
