Foreign fans took part in the festival of national cuisine in Yekaterinburg.The festival of national cuisine of the peoples of the Urals was held in Yekaterinburg on the site of the regional inter-national library. Fans from Mexico and Japan enjoyed tasting traditional dishes of Russian, Mari, Kazakh and Ukrainian cuisine.

      "We came to see football, but for us it's also very important to try the food of the country, because it is closely related to the culture," Gerardo Fuentes, a Mexican fan, shared his impressions. Within the framework of the event, an exhibition and sale of  crafts of the Sverdlovsk region and books about the cuisine of the peoples of Russia was organized. 

      There are 160 nationalities living in the Sverdlovsk region.

      The organizers say that the main goal of the festival is to strengthen respectful attitude of people of different nationalities, preserve the traditional culture of the Sverdlovsk region and introduce the guests of the region to the peculiarities of the national cuisine.
