Sberbank and the Higher School of Economics’ business incubator have finished the last selection stage of the SberUp corporate accelerator. The jury has chosen 35 teams out of the 60 previously selected for participation in the demo day. They will continue fighting for their right to present their projects to Sberbank’s top managers.|All the semi-finalists were trained by experts from HSE for several weeks: the start-uppers analysed the market to prove that their ideas are relevant, and there are markets and demand. The education of the accelerator’s participants is held remotely in the format of lectures, webinars and individual work with trackers. At the same time, any team’s members can ask for a consultation from any tracker on needed topics.
The 35 teams that managed to get through the main accelerator will work on the minimal viable product (MVP) of their enterprise and on attracting the first users over the next seven weeks. The MVPs will be presented at the demo day on 3 August. Following the results, the jury, consisting of top managers of Sberbank, will choose the strongest projects for investment. The start-up teams can receive up to RUB 10 mln for further development.
