The literary-memorial museum of Muranovo will host a festival dedicated to the traditional haymaking celebration on July 21-22, 2018.

      The family festival "Hay Mowing in Muranovo" welcomes you to take part in a very bright and rich cultural and entertainment program based on Russian traditions. The visitors of the colorful event will find there reconstructions of the manor life, various games and amusements, creative workshops, performances of folk music bands from Moscow and beyond, a grand handicraft fair, etc.

      The central event of the festival, as it should be, will be grass mowing at the Barskiy meadow. The celebrations will be crowned with an enormous traditional Russian round dance.

      Where: the literary-memorial museum-estate "Muranovo" in the village of Muranovo, the Pushkinsky District of the Moscow Region.
