 Urban and water tourism will continue to develop in Yaroslavl Oblast. Nine excursion routes have already been created.

      In 8 years the region plans to enter the top five of largest tourist centres of the country and increase the tourist flow up to 8 million travelers.

      Yaroslavl Oblast plans to create two tourist clusters – “Yaroslavskaya Riviera” on the Volga River and “Vereteya” on Lake Pleshcheyevo. The “Vereteya” project implies the development of the “Plescheevo Lake” centre: this location is the closest to Moscow.
