Vladimir Putin signed the law on the exemption of several types of activities from the use of cash register equipment. The companies are allowed not to use online cash registers when selling goods through mechanical vending machines.

      The cash registers may also be absent on board an aircraft, in metro or a bus, on the territory of military facilities, in case of sales of bottled soft drinks, in libraries, in parking lots, in the sales of newspapers and magazines.
