Almost 100 billion rubles were spent by fans in Moscow during the World Cup.
Tourists spent 96.6 billion rubles in Moscow during the World Football Championship, Natalya Sergunina, the deputy mayor of the capital on economic policy and property-land relations, said on Tuesday at the Moscow urban forum. "During the World Cup, tourists spent 96.6 billion rubles in Moscow, which resulted in an additional income of the Moscow budget of 13.2 billion rubles, while the total revenues to budgets of all levels amounted to about 19 billion rubles," said N.Shergunina.

Earlier it was reported that the tourist flow in the capital during the World Cup was about 4 million people, including more than 2 million of foreign tourists. The Moscow mayor recalled that the annual tourist flow to Moscow in general grew from 12 million to a record 21 million people. Moscow as an organizing city hosted 12 World Cup football matches.
