The jury of the Russian music festival Bolshoi (The Big) founded by Serbian film director Emir Kusturica, announced the winners.
Gold, silver and bronze nesting dolls aka matryoshkas - the traditional prize of the festival - were taken by young musicians from Moscow, Omsk and Ugra, as well as students of music schools and colleges in Serbia and Slovenia.
This year 27 participants from Russia took part in the competition: from the Moscow, Tyumen, Omsk, Tomsk, and Orenburg Regions, as well as Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Regions.
The Russian music festival "Bolshoi" has been held annually with the support of the Gasprom Company since 2013. It takes place in the ethnographic village of Drvengrad founded by Emir Kusturica in the early 2000s.
