Electrotheatre Stanislavsky to Launch Annual Jazz Festival

Electrotheatre Stanislavsky in Moscow will open the First annual jazz festival "ElectroJazz" on July 27. In the future, the festival will be held annually from May to September.

Musician Vera Romanova, one of the project creators, said that the festival will consist of three parts.

“We will start with classical jazz, and include popular jazz standards.  The festival hinges on the genre of free jazz improvisation, avant-garde jazz. The concert will be attended by dancers who will improvise along with musicians. The second part of the concert is going to be performed together with philosopher Natella Speranskaya, who will recite her poems. In the third part, all the performers will play together in a jam set" - she explained.

The next concert of the festival is scheduled for September 13, 2018.
